Yes, I am an education advocate.
Washington is 40th in the country for our graduation rates, and I believe our students deserve better.
I want to make a difference in Washington's public education system by speaking up about policies and programs that work for every kid, such as:
- focusing on Freshman Success strategies that prioritize getting all freshmen On-Track to graduate;
- ensuring that every qualified student is enrolled in advanced classes that will save them money and time on their college and career path;
- spending money on research-backed early literacy programsthat build foundational reading skills.
By signing up to be an advocate, I commit to speaking out and standing up in 2018 and 2019 on behalf of every student in Washington.
